5 Book Challenge | Post-Apoctolyptic Edition

 5 books you would want with you as the end of the world is coming! Here is the scenario! I hope you enjoy the challenge!

It is 11:00 PM on a Sunday night. You are laying in bed thinking about all of the things you must do the next day. Tasks of the coming days consume your thoughts and while your mind is somewhere else you are caught off guard by a flash in the sky that is followed by a large wailing screech that pierces the air and shatters your bedroom window. Slowly you move to the window and what you see catches your breathe and causes you to stumble back a few steps. The aliens (at least you think they are aliens) have began to enter the city and destroy everything that is in their path. Through the window your view is consumed with destruction, screaming people and large flames that are dancing across the city at a fast pace. You notice that the creatures are heading in your direction and you realize you probably have about fifteen minutes before they reach your home. That means you have only about ten minutes to gather your belongings and escape before you are caught in the attack from the aliens invading the city.

1. Lux: Beginnings (Obsidian & Onyx) (A Lux Novel)

Haven't read it yet but heard it is really good.  Plus it's on the top of my book shelf so very easy to grab.

2. Under the Dome: A Novel by Stephen King

Haven't read it yet but it's one of the fat books on my shelf that will take a long time to read through.

3. Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

Just purchased this book and it's very easy to get to quickly.  I just finished reading Maybe Someday and it was really good.  I tend to like to read by authors. 

4.  A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire: Book One by George R.R. Martin

Another long book that I'd like to read and since I will be on the run maybe I would have time to read it.

5. The Complete Harry Potter Collection by J.K. Rowling

This maybe cheating but since I just purchased this and it's right in front on my bookshelf and I am so wanting to read them and haven't done so yet.  It maybe hard running with this and the other 4 books but hey I'd try.
